About Us

Brew Lab | Artisan Coffee Bar is a new kind of coffee shop in Edinburgh.

We’re about exploring the possibilities of coffee and what a coffee shop should be – melding traditional and innovative brewing techniques and local artisan produce to create a new coffee shop experience.

We brew 2 rotating single origin coffees every day, using brewing methods that bring out the coffee’s best characteristics. We also brew our custom espresso blend, created and roasted by Has Bean on our Slayer Espresso Machine.

We aim to showcase some of the most exceptional local artisan produce Edinburgh has to offer. From hot chocolate from Edward and Irwyn, and fine teas from Pekoe Tea to amazing fresh bread and pastries from Le Petit Francais, cakes from Lovecrumbs and soups and salads from Union of Genius. We also make sandwiches, freshly every day using premium ingredients sourced, where possible, locally.

Brew Lab is the product of 4 years of research and planning, with the help of a dedicated Facebook community who have helped shape a coffee shop for themselves and for Edinburgh.
